My name is Stephanie Fidlin and I am a candidate for School Board member for the School District of Waukesha. I believe that every child deserves a quality education. We must invest in our schools to ensure that they have the resources they need to provide rigorous academics. As a member of the School Board, I will work to ensure that our schools are safe and parental feedback is a driver of district decisions.

Campaign Focus
Creating a Destination District
My campaign is focused on addressing declining enrollment within our district by creating more robust choices and elevating the academic standards. I believe that by offering families more educational choices, we can address the annual budget deficit without raising taxes, closing schools, or laying off teachers. Improving academic achievement will make Waukesha a destination district where families will want to move, raise children, and invest in our community. As a School Board member, I will work to provide timely and transparent communication, solicit regular feedback from our teachers and staff, and ensure that students have access to the resources they need to succeed.
